WHY TITANIUM?
We pierce with ASTM F136 implant-grade titanium.
It's high-quality, biocompatible jewelry designed for implantation and is an excellent choice for fresh piercings, particularly for clients concerned about nickel sensitivity.
Your initial jewelry isn't just about how it looks. Proper material, sizing and fit are an important part of giving a new piercing the best possible start.
HEALING TAKES TIME
Every body heals differently, and healing time varies based on placement, lifestyle and aftercare.
Ears, nose & eyebrow: approximately 6–12 weeks
Nipples: approximately 8–12 weeks
Navel: approximately 2–9 months
Tongue: approximately 2–4 weeks
Lips & cheeks: approximately 6–12 weeks
These are estimates rather than guarantees. Your piercing may require additional healing time before jewelry can safely be changed.

PIERCING FAQ
DOES GETTING PIERCED HURT?
Piercings are quick, but everyone's pain tolerance is different. Most clients describe the actual piercing as a brief pinch or pressure followed by some tenderness afterward.
DO YOU USE A PIERCING GUN?
No. Our piercings are performed with sterile, single-use piercing needles.
CAN I BRING MY OWN JEWELRY?
Please contact us before your appointment regarding outside jewelry. Jewelry intended for a fresh piercing must meet our material, size, quality and sterilization requirements.
CAN I CHANGE MY JEWELRY WHEN IT STOPS HURTING?
Not necessarily. Feeling good on the outside doesn't mean the piercing has completely healed internally.
If you're unsure whether you're ready for a jewelry change, come see us.
I HAVE A BUMP. IS IT A KELOID?
Not every piercing bump is a keloid.
Irritation bumps can develop for several reasons, including pressure, movement, jewelry fit and aftercare. True keloids are a different type of scar growth and require appropriate medical evaluation.
Don't panic and don't start throwing products at it. Send us a photo or stop by so we can help determine your next step.
SHOULD I TWIST OR ROTATE MY JEWELRY?
No. Leave your jewelry in place while your piercing heals unless your piercer or healthcare provider tells you otherwise.
READY FOR SOMETHING NEW?
From first earlobes to curated ears and everything in between. We will help you choose a piercing and jewelry that works for you.
