PERMANENT JEWELRY FAQ
DOES IT HURT?
Nope! The spark never touches your skin. Welding the jewelry takes only a moment.
IS IT REALLY PERMANENT?
Permanent means clasp-free, not indestructible. Your jewelry stays on until you decide to remove it or until enough force causes the chain or connection to break.
CAN I TAKE IT OFF?
Absolutely. If you need to remove your jewelry, cut the small jump ring rather than the chain whenever possible and save your piece. We may be able to re-weld it later.
CAN I SHOWER OR SWIM WITH IT?
Yes. Permanent jewelry is designed for everyday wear. We recommend rinsing your jewelry with fresh water after swimming or heavy sweating and keeping it away from harsh chemicals whenever possible.
WHAT IF IT BREAKS?
Keep your jewelry! If the welded connection fails due to our workmanship within 7 days, we'll re-weld it at no charge. After that, our regular re-weld fee applies. Stretched, damaged or lost jewelry may require replacement.
CAN KIDS GET PERMANENT JEWELRY?
Yes! Clients under 18 must have consent from a parent or legal guardian. We reserve the right to decline the service if we don't feel it can be performed safely.
WHAT ABOUT MEDICAL PROCEDURES?
Some medical procedures or facilities may require jewelry to be removed. Always follow your healthcare provider's instructions. If possible, cut the jump ring and save your jewelry so we can re-weld it later.
